Adema is an American nu metal band formed in Bakersfield, California in 2000. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Mark Chavez, guitarist Tim Fluckey, bassist Dave DeRoo, drummer Kris Kohls, and guitarist Mike Ransom.

They released their self-titled debut album in 2001, which featured the hit single "The Way You Like It." The album was certified gold by the RIAA and the band received a Grammy nomination for the single.
