Andy Timmons is an American guitarist and musician. He is known for his virtuosic guitar playing and his work in the rock and instrumental guitar genres. He began his career in the 1980s as a member of the band Danger Danger, which released several albums and had several hit songs in the early 1990s. 

After leaving Danger Danger, he began a solo career and has released several albums featuring his guitar playing and songwriting. His solo albums feature a mix of rock, blues, and jazz influences, and are known for their technical proficiency and melodic sensibility.  

Considered one of the most respected guitarists on the scene, he has performed and recorded with many artists and bands. He also has a wide range of styles, from rock to jazz, and have a strong influence on the guitar players of different genres.
