Bakuchiol Youth Elixir

If you find retinol difficult to tolerate, Bakuchiol Youth Elixir is a potential alternative for a retinol-free routine. This silky facial elixir with bakuchiol and squalane helps dry skin feel softer and more supple.

Use just two or three drops before your serum and moisturiser. Retinol-free does not mean irritation-free: try a small area first.

How to use

After cleansing and toning:

1. Put two or three drops into your palms and rub them together.
2. Gently pat over your face, neck and décolletage.
3. Follow with your serum and moisturiser.

The label also suggests mixing two or three drops into your serum, moisturiser or mask. A little goes a long way.

In the morning, finish with your usual SPF. This facial elixir does not provide sun protection.
