Gamma was an American hard rock band formed in the late 1970s by guitarist Ronnie Montrose. The band released three albums in the late 1970s and early 1980s, "Gamma 1" (1979), "Gamma 2" (1980), and "Gamma 3" (1982). The band was known for their energetic live shows and blues-influenced hard rock sound.

Although Gamma never achieved widespread commercial success, they are considered a cult classic and continue to have a dedicated fanbase.
