SikTh (official capitalization) is a progressive metal/mathcore band from Watford, Hertfordshire, England, UK.
SikTh formed in late 1999, but consolidated their line-up in March 2001. That line-up consisted of dual vocalists Mikee Goodman and Justin Hill, guitarists Dan Weller and Graham Pinney, bassist James Leach and drummer/percussionist Dan Foord.
SikTh's music can be described as a sonic rollercoaster, featuring complex guitar riffs, polyrhythmic drumming, dynamic shifts in tempo and mood, and a wide range of vocal styles. The band seamlessly blended elements of progressive metal, mathcore, funk, and alternative rock, creating a sound that was both technical and emotionally charged.
Their debut album, "The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait for Something Wild" (2003), showcased their distinctive sound and garnered critical acclaim. The album's complex arrangements, aggressive vocals, and experimental approach resonated with fans of progressive and alternative music.
